My newest piece for MMW is up. This time around I looked at the social media response to recent stories out of Pakistan having to do with violence against women. Although I didn’t plan to, I ended up writing about Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy’s work again.

Rejoining the Muslimah Media Watch Team
I’m excited to announce that I’ve rejoined the writing team at Muslimah Media Watch. I wrote for the blog from the time it started in 2007 until the summer of 2009. It was such a wonderful experience that I asked to rejoin. And here’s my first piece back.
